In a significant move towards enhancing political strategies and youth involvement, Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki, has given his seal of approval for the appointment of new Special Advisers in the Edo State Government.
In a statement made available to Edo Updates, the distinguished appointees include Lady Uwa Osunbor, Dr. Philomena Ihenyen, Hon. Jimfred Obadiku, and Shedrack Ohiorenua Udugbai, who will serve as Special Advisers in the areas of Political and Youth Affairs.
Acknowledging the diverse needs of the state, the Governor has also extended his approval for Special Advisers to be assigned to each of the State’s nine Federal Constituencies. These appointees will play a crucial role in representing and addressing the unique concerns of their respective constituencies.
The appointed Special Advisers for the Federal Constituencies include Philomena Balogun for Akoko-Edo, Hon. Ayuba Sedenu for Etsako East/West/Central, Abu Abdullahi for Owan West/East, Kenneth Edebiri for Orhionmwon/Uhunmwode, Osagie Ekunwe Melody for Egor/Ikpoba-Okha Federal Constituencies, Victor Enoghama for Oredo, Mr. Kelvin Obarogie for Ovia South West/Ovia North East, Mr. Patrick Iluobe for Esan North-East/Esan South-East and Mrs. Herberta Ayu for Esan Central/West/Igueben Federal Constituencies.
The impending swearing-in ceremony for these appointees will be announced at a later date, signifying a formal induction into their roles as key contributors to the governance of Edo State.
