Governor Godwin Obaseki has approved the payment of gratuity to local government pensioners who retired in 2011.
The Commissioner for Ministry of Local Government, Community & Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Monday E. O. Osaigbovo, announced that the State Pension Bureau will commence screening and payment processes immediately.
This move follows the August 2024 approval for pensioners who retired in 2010, demonstrating Governor Obaseki’s commitment to clearing outstanding gratuity payments.
Affected pensioners are urged to contact the State Pension Bureau for further information.
