Former Governor Godwin Obaseki’s personal lawyer, Marrister Abubakar Yesufu, has come out to refute Senator Monday Okpebholo’s claim that the former governor is in hiding abroad. Obaseki’s lawyer has come out to say the former governor is abroad for a medical checkup and definitely not on the run because he has nothing to run from.Â
His lawyer has said there are several hundred pages of documents to backup this necessary medical checkup and would be made available to the EFCC upon request.
