PDP Holds Grand Finale of Campaign Rally, Unveils Achievements of Obaseki’s Administration
Governor Godwin Obaseki has made a passionate appeal to the people of Edo State to vote for the PDP candidate, Dr. Asue Ighodalo, and his running mate, Barr Osarodion Ogie, to sustain the developmental legacies of his administration. He made the remark at the grand finale of the PDP campaign rally, held at Garrick Memorial School Ground in Benin City, on Saturday, September 14, 2024.
The event was graced by the creme de la creme of the party, amongst whom were: Former Nigerian Vice President, HE Atiku Abubakar; Chairman PDP Governor’s Forum and Governor of Bauchi State, Sen. Bala Mohammed; Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori; Bayelsa State Governor, HE Douye Diri; Plateau State Governor, HE Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang. Others include: Zamfara State Governor, HE Dauda Lawal; Governor of Akwa Ibom State, HE Umo Bassey Eno; Osun State Governor, Sen. Ademola Adeleke; Rivers State Governor, HE Siminalayi Fubara; Former Governor of Sokoto State, Sen. Aminu Tambuwal, amongst other dignitaries
The dignitaries had earlier paid a courtesy visit to the Esama of Benin, Chief (Dr.) Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion, in commemoration of his 90th birthday anniversary.
Obaseki reeled out some of the giant strides achieved by his administration, urging Edo people to vote for Ighodalo to sustain the developmental legacies in the state.
