Edo state House of Assembly has set machinery in motion to find a lasting solution to the Crisis at the state owned Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma.
The legislature in a statement endorsed by the Deputy Speaker, Rt Hon Roland Asoro, says the house has resolved that the House committee on Education should immediately step into the matter with a view to finding lasting solutions to the issues involved.
The Deputy Speaker appealed to all stakeholders to avail the committee of Memorandum on the issues at stake, while the stakeholders in the School environment are also advised to come up with memos on their grievances concerning the school.
Rt Hon Roland Asoro appealed to all agrieved parties to sheath their swords while the Assembly seeks a solution to the lingering Crisis in the school.
The state House of Assembly called on all to allow peace reign and allow academic activities continue in the institution.
The Deputy Speaker appealed to staff and students to remain calm as the legislature is poised to proffer lasting solutions to the Crisis.
