Leading Figures and Experts Converge in Benin City

In a bid to chart a path towards a brighter future for Edo State, the 2023 Alaghodaro Investment Summit is set to kick off in Benin City, Edo State’s capital. This annual summit draws prominent captains of industry, respected policy experts, seasoned manufacturers, influential business leaders, and accomplished investment experts, alongside other key stakeholders.
With a vision to accelerate sustainable growth and development, the summit provides a unique opportunity for attendees to explore strategic partnerships, share innovative ideas, and envision a prosperous future. Governor Godwin Obaseki, who leads the state, is committed to positioning Edo on the path to long-term growth and development.
As preparations gain momentum, the Alaghodaro Investment Summit, now in its seventh edition, is poised to showcase the government’s transformative policies and programs that have significantly improved the lives of Edo State residents and paved the way for a prosperous future.
The theme of this year’s summit, “The Edo Story: Creating Shared Opportunities into the Future,” encapsulates the state’s ambition to become a thriving economic and industrial hub. The event is expected to draw the nation’s most prominent figures from the public and private sectors.
Eire Ifueko Alufohai, Chairperson of the Local Organizing Committee and Executive Secretary of Alaghodaro Economic Summit Limited/Gte, expressed her assurance that the 2023 summit will be both memorable and impactful. Given that this is the final summit under Governor Godwin Obaseki’s leadership, a diverse array of events are planned to make a lasting impression on Edo State’s future.
Activities lined up for the 2023 summit include the Edo Women Conference on November 8, followed by the Ancient City Tour and Cocktail on November 9. The main Alaghodaro Summit, Muslim Prayers, Award, and Dinner will take place on November 10. The following day will feature the Governor’s Golf Tournament, Food Fair, and Youth Concert. The event will culminate on November 12 with a Thanksgiving Service, wrapping up five days of insightful discussions and forward-thinking strategies.
