The 3-day Colloquium and bootcamp which began on Thursday 18th August and rounded off on Saturday 20th August 2022 was held at the remodeled campus of the College of Education Abudu had over 200 youths drawn from the three senatorial districts of the state in attendance..
One of the participants and deputy leader of the Edo Youth Parliament, Hon. Olumense Imho, ntu commended Edo state Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki for having Edo youths in mind and for cresting the enabling environment to hold such a colloquium and sued for its sustenance to ensure that the strength of youths are utilised towards the development of the society…
On his part, another participant, Elijah Okunloye appreciated Gov. Obaseki and the State Commissioner for youths and Humanitarian Affairs for such a novel initiative noting that the governor had truly proven to be a tech driven Governor with a burning desire to Make Edo Great Again.
Reiterating the objective of the bootcamp/colloquium, the state commissioner for youths and humanitarian affairs, Mr. Chris Nehikhare stated that the programme was initiated to drive and instill key universal values on youths in the state and young people alike so that their actions would be properly realigned to more positive productive ventures in their chosen career paths…
