As part of the Obaseki led administration’s transformation agenda, the Executive Chairman of Etsako Central Local Government, Hon. Solomon Obomighie has commenced the grading and opening up of new earth roads across the Local Government Area.
Speaking during the official flag off ceremony at Dennis Abuda Road, Hon. Solomon Obomighie, said that the grading of the earth roads is part of the ongoing efforts to enhance the infrastructural development in the Local Government Area.
The Chairman reaffirmed his commitment to the development of the Local Government as he emphasized the importance of creating an environment that is conducive to attracting investors and ensuring the overall progress of the area.
He explained that, all the major access earth roads in the Local Government were in dire need of attention, especially those in the riverine and interior communities, adding that the move was geared towards creating an enabling environment for socio-economic activities to thrive at the Local Government Level.
The Council Chairman further explained that timely maintenance and intervention on infrastructure such as roads will have a positive impact on communities, creating ease in the movement of farm produce round major markets in the area.
Hon. Obomighie however appreciated the leaders, stakeholders, and the legislative arm of the Local Government for their support and cooperation, thanking the residents for their patience during the duration of the project, while suing for continuous support and collaboration with the State Government and the Local Government to work together in making Etsako Central a better place for all.
This infrastructural development is ongoing across the eighteen Local Government Areas of the state.
