The Executive Chairman of Etsako West Local Government Council has embarked on the grading and rehabilitation of roads across the Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State.
This infrastructural development is ongoing across the 18 Local Government Areas of the state.
The Executive Chairman of Etsako West Local Government Council, Hon. Marvelous Muhizu Zibiri, flagged off the exercise with the grading and landscaping of the council’s premises as well as the grading and rehabilitation of other roads across the 12 Wards in Etsako West Local Government Area.
All the major access roads in the LGA were in dire need of government attention and this move by the Council Chairman demonstrates his unwavering commitment towards creating an enabling environment for constituents through infrastructural development to boosting the socio-economic activities at the local government level.
During the official flag-off ceremony held at the Council Secretariat, the Council Chairman expressed that timely maintenance and intervention on infrastructure like roads will have a positive impact on the community, making transportation easier and safer for everyone. He further asserted that this kind of proactive approach can make a big difference in people’s lives.
