Last week my son fell ill. We took him to the hospital he was born. He spent 2 days in the hospital being hospitalised. He had countless meetings and consultations with the doctors, they did several tests on him, he took injections, and infusions for 2 days straight.
As we were about to check out, in my head, I’d already made peace with spending several thousands of naira on the bill. I was very certain we’d spend close to 50k considering all the medical services and medications he was given.
